Reminder that tonight is the elementary spring program at 7:00! Band will need to be there at 6:40, with the rest of the elementary in their classrooms ABOUT 6:45. Leis will be provided for your child/ren to wear. IF YOUR CHILD IS HOME ILL TODAY, DO NOT HAVE THEM COME TONIGHT See you then!

3's Preschool had such a great day celebrating our 3 senior teacher assistants! We are so lucky to have had Micah, Sydney and Ashlynn in our classroom this year! They have been so helpful and made such a positive impact on the preschoolers! We will miss you, but wish you the best as you graduate and move on to new adventures! Thank you to preschool parents who helped by sending cards, gifts, etc! Kids were so excited to give these to our helpers today!

April is school librarian and school library celebration month. We have the best here at Lyons-Decatur Northeast. Thank you Mrs. Barber for everything you do!

Mr. Peatrowsky's 4th grade history class went on their annual Lincoln field trip yesterday. The kids had a blast learning about Nebraska at the State Capitol and State Museum! Thank you to all the parent and staff volunteers for making this happen!

This year’s Elementary Spring Program will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. This year’s program is called “Hawaiian Beach Party” by Andy Beck and Brian Fisher. Come learn about Hawaiian traditions, beliefs, and language of the land where you will hear several Hawaiian hit songs! This program will include Preschool through 6th grade students. If possible, we would like the students in all grades to wear their best school appropriate Hawaiian/Beach gear! Leis will be provided. Of course, if you already have nice clothes chosen for your child/ren to wear, that will be fine as well. Reminder, the concert is Tuesday, April 30 @ 7:00 pm, with students arriving by 6:45 pm.
