Good luck to the HS Cross Country team as they compete in the District Meet today at Twin Creek Golf Course in Pender. The Girls' race will start at 4:30 followed by the Boys' race at 5:15. Spectators are asked to park in the clubhouse parking lot or in the grass area south of Newton Diesel. DO NOT park along Highway 9.

SCHEDULE UPDATE!!!! Tuesday's JH Volleyball matches at Wisner-Pilger will now be played at 4:00 prior to their HS games that night. This is their VB team's Pink Out night, so no admission will be charged for either the JH or HS games. Instead a freewill donation to the Side Out Foundation for Breast Cancer Research at the door will be the admission.

Here are your brackets for the East Husker Conference volleyball tournament next week. The Cougars will travel to Oakland on Thursday to take on the Cadets from West Point-Beemer in the first round. On Saturday LDNE and O-C will be hosting the remainder of the tournament.
