On Saturday, the JV girls and boys BB teams will travel to Wisner-Pilger of a round-robin tournament. Here is the schedule for that day.

This year’s Elementary Christmas Program will be held Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. This year’s program is called “A Pirate Christmas” by John Jacobson & Roger Emerson. Santa and his elves take a much-needed vacation in the island sun where they come across a rowdy band of pirates who mistake Santa as the dreaded pirate, “White Beard”! This program will include Preschool through 6th grade students. If possible, we would like the students in Kindergarten, 2nd, 4th and 6th grades to wear a Christmas shirt with khakis or nice jeans and the students in 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades to wear a Hawaiian shirt with khakis or nice jeans. (Please wear a Santa hat if you have one!) Preschool students may wear a holiday shirt with nice pants. Of course, if you already have nice clothes chosen for your child/ren to wear, that will be fine as well. Reminder, the concert is Thursday, December 14 @ 7:00 pm, with students arriving by 6:45 pm. Band students NEED to be in the band room at 6:30!

Good luck to the JH Boys BB team as they host Tekamah-Herman today starting at 6:00 PM. Game order will be C team, B team, then A team. Games will be streamed on the LDNE YouTube channel.
The HS basketball teams travel to Homer today for games. Both JV teams will play at the same time, JV girls in the auxiliary gym and JV boys in the main gym at 1:00. Varsity games will follow. Games are streamed on the NFHS Network which requires a subscription.
GOOD LUCK to the Cougar boys wrestling team as they open up their season at the Howells-Dodge tournament in Howells starting at 9:30 AM.
GOOD LUCK to the Cougar Girls Wrestling team as they open the season in the "Friday Night Fracas" at West Point-Beemer. Wrestling is scheduled to start at 3:00 PM. Fans are to enter the building on the East side of the school.

Gatorade Basketball Scrimmage TONIGHT!!!! Come out and watch the HS Basketball teams in their intrasquad scrimmages starting at 7:00 with the girls team. Suggested donation for entrance is bottle(s) of gatorade/powerade.

Girls and boys basketball will have their annual Gatorade Scrimmage tonight. Girls at 7:00 p.m. and boys at 7:45 p.m. Admission is any sports drink of your choosing. These drinks will be given to the players for away-game road trips! We hope to see everyone there. Go Cougars!
