July 2024 Opportunities
REMINDER!!! It's time to start thinking about getting a school physical. All 7th grade students will need a physical as well as all students who will be participating in junior high and high school sports. Forms can be found on the school webpage. Physicals must be turned into the office/coaches before athletes are allowed to participate in practice. High school practices will begin on August 12th.

Calling all 7-12th grade band members: The 4th of July Festival Parade in Lyons is this Thursday at 5:00 p.m. Please meet at 4:30 behind the school with your instrument and a LDNE/Cougar shirt!
Weights Update for Friday, June 28th (Due to construction). We will have sessions available at 7:00 am, 8:00 am, and JH at 9:00 am. Come to any that work for you. The Decatur shuttle will pick up at 6:30 am tomorrow!

The Riverfront Days Parade is this Saturday, June 15th at 1:00 p.m. in Decatur. Please meet at noon at the horse arena with your instrument.
Tomorrow we will only have 5:30 weights session and a 6:30 weights session. Everyone can attend one of the sessions thank you!

We adjusted the weight room times for the summer so moving forward, the shuttle will now depart from Decatur at 6:00 a.m. See everyone tomorrow!
Reminder: Band students please report to the Lyons cemetery at 10:15 a.m. on Monday, May 27th for the Memorial Day Service.
Please note the time changes for summer weight lifting. We had to adjust for weight room space. (JH students will lift at 9:00am.) You can also see the school calendar via website/app for all summer activities.
